Insulating Glass Unit
Insulating Glass Unit consists of two or more panes separated by a spacer. The space created between the panes is filled with a mixture of air and noble gases. The material of the insulated glass is float glass. In order to increase the durability of the glass, it is often reinforced with a laminate.
Advantages
Thermal insulation
Windows equipped with multi-layer panes with emission coatings effectively prevent heat loss. In this way, we can more easily maintain the optimal temperature inside the room.
Blockage of solar radiation
Insulating glass units with an anti-reflective coating have the ability to reflect sunlight, therefore the glass does not overheat and does not expand excessively under the influence of solar energy. Thanks to this, the room has a pleasant temperature, which is especially important in summer.
Noise Reduction
Acoustic Glass allows you to silence the room and shut out the noisy sounds from your surroundings.
Application
Insulating glass units are widely used in modern construction, where energy efficiency is of the essence. In public buildings and in residential houses, they are used as windows or balcony doors with a sliding system, as well as entrance doors.
